How this estimate works
Most "free" traffic tools either hide their method or make numbers up. Here's exactly what we do — and how accurate it is.
We read each domain's global popularity rank from Tranco — a research-grade ranking built from real-usage signals (Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 DNS, Google's Chrome UX Report, Cisco Umbrella, Majestic). It's regenerated daily and hardened against manipulation.
We convert that rank into monthly visits with a model we calibrated against 20 sites whose real traffic is publicly known. Half of all estimates land within about 1.5× of the true figure — expect the real number within roughly 2× of what we show.
If a domain isn't in the global top ~1M, there's no reliable public signal — so we tell you that instead of inventing a figure. Every number we show is anchored to a real, hard data point: the domain's actual popularity rank.
